Australian Biometric Collection Centres (ABCCs) in Lagos and in Abuja will be operated by VFS Global

From Monday 3 June 2019, the Australian Biometric Collection Centre (ABCC) in Lagos and in Abuja will be operated by VFS Global.  The ABCC's remain biometric collection centres only.

You will no longer be able to lodge a paper visa application for Australia at these centres, and are advised to submit your visa application via ImmiAccount

The Abuja and Lagos ABCCs will serve two primary functions:

  1. Collection of biometrics (photograph and fingerprints) from Australian visa applicants requested in writing to provide them; and
  2. Information services for pre-lodgement enquiries through the VFS Global call centre on +234 (0)81 5018 0009, operating hours 8:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday. The call centre is closed on Nigerian Public Holidays.

If you are unable to lodge online, or are required to lodge a paper application, then you must courier your application to the Service Delivery Partner TLScontact in Johannesburg, South Africa. Please note this option will also incur a service fee payable to TLScontact. The option to lodge a paper application by courier to TLScontact in Johannesburg will only be available until 20 June 2019.

Please note you are required to book an appointment to provide biometrics which can be done through the VFS Global website. Walk-in appointments will not be accepted.
