How do I apply for a passport?
All passport applications must be lodged in person at an interview with an accredited Australian Passport Officer. Each type of passport application (outlined below) requires specific documentation.

How much is a passport application?
Passport application fees are payable at the time of interview using card. All payments are made in South African Rand only. Fees are reviewed monthly to reflect exchange rate variations. Current application fees can be found using the link below.

Passport interviews are arranged strictly by appointment only. Please see further details below.

Interviews are strictly offered by appointment only at the Australian High Commission Pretoria between 9.00am and 12.30pm Monday to Friday.
